We elected a man twice that had no real experience and you can see where that got us (America). Many critics from the left and even right are taking their shots against Donald Trump’s announcement. Can it be said Jeb Bush would be better? Or Lindsey Graham? Or God forbid, Hillary? Could it be time to consider a genius business man opposed to politicians who tell you what you want to hear just to get elected? Let us take a closer look if Trump is too far fetched or a viable candidate:
It is too easy to target my verbal writing attacks on the President, or Hillary Clinton. You know their many flaws. We still do not know who Obama really is (His past), and Hillary’s past is enough to roll your eyes around up at the sky. This is more about Republicans. Taking Jeb Bush first, a true conservative knows this man is not a conservative at all, but a very moderate Republican. In many ways he is downright Liberal. Common Core, Immigration, and to boot he is being funded by those that would be and have been against Reagen back in the day.
You also have Lindsey Grahm to consider. This man is the definition of RINO. He is, like McCain, McConnell, Boehner just a hair better than a Liberal Democrat. True, they are all nice men, But I don’t want to elected a President based on a personality contest. They may even be fair Presidents if elected, but none can ever be considered Conservative. In my opinion, these individuals may even seal a Democrat victory. As with Bob Dole, John McCain, Mitt Romney, Conservatives just may stay home on election day.
Many people like Carly Fiorina, and yet she is not your typical politician. Like Trump, she is a business woman, yet she is being taken more seriously than Trump. Even Ben Carson has similar respect. Yet Trump is not taken seriously by many. I am not supporting anyone. It is too early, and the field of candidates are growing still. What I am saying is Trump has a few traits to his benefit that politicians do not have.
He is rambunctious and confronts the press like no politician dares to do. This means he will not be asked a difficult question and do an end run with his answers leaving the question unanswered. He will not take gotchya questions lightly. In fact, I believe he would answer in such a way that the journalist would wish he could hide under a desk. Politicians are famous for mis-direction with their answers. They are careful never to lose their temper. It would be so refreshing to finally have a President that would directly answer any question.
He is a genius business man. As he said “I would be the greatest job creator God ever made”. This many be very true. He is a capitalist. He loves the private sector, unlike Obama. He would ease up on restrictions for those that wish to start a business. This administration creates 30 thousand regulations a year on businesses. So many regulations I am sure businesses don’t even know if they are breaking the regulations or not. Many may even contradict each other. Trump would unleash the private sector and the hiring spree would be historical.
TPA? Trump would finally put a stop to the one sided “Free Trade” which is anything but fair. He would deal with China and other countries who void deals and cheat. He would deal with American companies that move to other countries to build their products, thus losing American citizen jobs. His foreign policy would be as Reagen’s was, strong. He knows that China is building a huge military as Russia is as well. He also knows we are funding the building of these armies by your shopping dollar. He would not continue to ruin or military like our President has done. He would not make idiotic deals with nations like Iran. He would pull together a coalition of Middle Eastern countries, like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordon to truly fight ISIS. In short, Trump is no chump.
Although a skating rink is not a federal example of Trump’s know-how: In 1986 Koch declined to repair a skating rink in Central Park as the city could not afford the cost. Trump stepped in and for a fraction of the cost fixed the rink by 1987. Trump knows the Private sector is cheaper than anything the government does to repair anything. Heck, the government still pays thousands of dollars just to buy one hammer or a toilet seat!
Think back: The mid-term elections had “Politicians” promising a bright blue sky to us Republicans. We believed them. Instead they stabbed us all in the back and gave Obama everything as if Pelosi, and Reid where still in charge. Politicians will tell you anything just to get elected. Trump is no politician. He will say what he means and he will mean what he says, and if you don’t like it? Trump will say “Then don’t vote for me”.
Yes, there are still true conservatives out there, and Trump has been known to play both sides of the fence by donating to both parties, but he is conservative where it counts, and if you ever heard him, he loves are country and says so often, unlike our President who apologies for it.
Love him, or not, he is a character, but a genius as well. So, take him seriously. You Realize the critics are afraid of him and want to down play his credibility (did Obama have credibility?). He will be a target of abuse by Republicans just like Reagen was too. However, you just may find he is more like you than a Jeb Bush.
It could be the time to break the mold and give a true business man the biggest business to run in the world: The United States of America.
God bless America
