To Tell The Truth – All Presidents Lie, But…

I have no doubt you were taught as a child that George Washington cut down his father’s Cherry Tree. When asked he responded “I can not tell a lie, I cut down the Cherry tree”.  A story that never happened.  However, it was taught, or so I believe, to teach children that we expect a honest president when we elect one.  Has there ever been a president elected that never lied?  We call Abraham Lincoln “Honest Abe”, but  I am sure he was called a lier by his advisories too back in the day.  Many made up by them, but still, I bet if he were alive today he would say he fibbed too.  Now that admission would truly be an honest Abe moment!

Then there is the degree of lying. Is it a white lie? a huge lie? Just on rare occasions? Perhaps very consistently? What happens when a president does lie? If a Democrat president lies the Republicans are all over it! If a Republican president lies, the Democrats are equally offended and demand something be done about it.

Truth is we all tell lies. To what degree and how often is the only difference. As far as I know, there was only one man that ever lived that was without sin. That was Jesus. Please write me if you know of another.

What I find entertaining, but not in a good way, is the double standard each party partakes in. Perhaps one is right and the other is wrong, so therefore one is justified to

complain and one is not, but the double standards are abound. One side will chide the other for defending a perceived lie, but then will do it themselves. Take President George W. Bush for example. When Shock and awe against Iraq and Saddam Hussein ended, the President stood on the deck of the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and declared “Mission accomplished”. The left took to the media saying he lied and knew the mission was NOT accomplished. The Iraq war also had the left claiming that Bush is lying about “Weapons of mass destruction” and that we were only there to get their oil. Which in fact never happened, as we did not take their oil. Bush lied about the WMDs, he lied about the oil, he lied about mission accomplished. Not that he was wrong, no, he lied.

Jumping forward to the Obama years we find no shortage of lying to the American people. The easy and most memorable lie was that you could keep your doctors and your plan under

Obamacare. This of course turned out to be not true. Republicans will tell you that every day of the Obama administration one would hear lies. However, the Democrats were locked in step with protecting their Messiah. To Democrats, Jesus was only one of two people who never lied, Obama being the other.

In short if you want to know the truth, don’t ask a politician. Campaigns for the most part of lies to get people to vote for them. Once in, many will do the opposite. Democrats will campaign more to the center, but when they get elected, they show their true Nanny State beliefs. Republicans will campaign on smaller government, fiscal responsibilities, and as in the 2014 mid term elections, they would overturn Obamacare. Well, they did not. They actually funded it, passed Omnibus bills, and behaved like Rinos.

Now we have President Trump. The left and the “Never Trumpers” of course claims he lies all the time. If you listen to Adam Shiff, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Chuck Schumer, and so many more Democrats, you would think Trump was such a lier, but is he? Let me start off by saying this article pointed out “Politicians” lie. Trump is not a politician. He doesn’t talk, act or even lie like a politician. He is 100% honest? Nope. However, what President has been? Trump however, does not lie with the consistency of Obama. Does he lie about women? He might, and many or all Democrats say he absolutely does. But those lies do not affect me. Obama’s did. Does he lie about Putin? I say no. The media is like the old Russian newspaper Pravda, and they will tell you Trump lies about everything when he does not.

I have said many times that I don’t care if we elected Barney the Purple Dinosaur to be our President. As long as he fixes our country. The Bush’s didn’t do it, Clinton didn’t do it, Obama didn’t do it, but Trump is. A lie about Stormy Daniels, and others (if they are lies, or not) is not an impeachable offense. I could care less, and don’t tell me it is about his Character. No one cared about J.F.K.’s indiscretions, Dems didn’t care about Clinton’s many trysts, or rather, sexual harassment, even rape, etc. Now if Trump tells us we are going to keep our tax cuts, then takes them away? then I have issues with lies, but he has not been dishonest to me and his voters.

Instead, I have never seen a President who has kept as many campaign promises as he as. I have never seen a President fix the economy so fast as he has (Reagan was good too, but not as fast). I have never seen a President turn a country around at all like Trump has, and is doing. However, ask a Democrat how is Trump doing? They will get angry and say “He is the worst President ever! How can you blame them? They hear 24/7 on TV, the Internet, and Print how horrible he is… Treasonous! Lier! Idiot!

The same news that were made fools of by his winning the election. They can not admit his successes. A) It would again prove them wrong, B) It may help Republicans do well in the Mid-terms as well as having Trump another 4 years after 2020. They can not tell their viewers, readers, listeners, that Trump has been good for the country. Hollywood shoots him in videos, beheads him in photographs, and even fashion now has him hanging by his red tie on T-shirts!

None of these factions of society know the truth of what amazing things he has done. The lier’s are no longer the President. They are the media, Hollywood, teachers and professors, and of course Democrat politicians. It is so bad these days, that if you point out a blatant lie via CNN, you are told you are the one that has it wrong. You are the evil one because you don’t want socialism. You don’t want open borders, you don’t want aborted baby parts sold. What is wrong with you?… YOU FASCIST! So they then create Antifa (Anti-fascists), yet they are violent. burning, destroying, stopping free speech. They are guilty of doing what they are accusing others of. Yet they don’t see it.

Lastly, I wish to point out that there are those in the middle east that teach their young that Jews grow horns at night. These children grow up believing this, and other horrible things about Jews. It is a form of brainwashing. Democrats and liberals have indoctrination as well from K-12 and beyond. Through are media, Hollywood, etc. Drill it into them from all angles and you have a liberal for life. Madison avenue knows this. They will spend millions on getting the American public to believe they can’t live without a certain shampoo. They will target their markets to those they know they can manipulate into a certain way of thinking. Indoctrination is not that different.

It is all about lying. From Presidents to the media, to are educational system, and entertainment industry, etc. So with all the lying, I don’t expect our Presidents to be Jesus. All people lie. Our next president will lie too! Just what about, and how often. However, I believe knowing all the Presidents in my lifetime (Not personally), that Trump, the non-politician is the least of all the lier’s we have elected.

He is Making America Great again, and that is no lie.
