When Obama pulled our troops out before Iraq could stand on fully on their own left the door open for the now crumbling of Iraq. To say “We are ending the war” and pulling out the troops is not winning a war. When one side says “We are ending the war” that could only work if the other side stops fighting too, but what it truly does is just gives the other side the win as they are free to surge and wreak havoc. That is what we are witnessing now in Iraq.
John McCain was heavily criticized as a war monger when he said there will be troops in Iraq for the next 100 years. The left jumped on that saying he wants a war for 100 years! Rational minds knew what he was saying. That Iraq would have our troops there as we do in South Korea (or North Korea would just walk in and attack again). We also have troops in Germany, Japan and many places in the world. Just our presence is a deterrent. Instead we left with no contingency plan. Although we gave billions of your dollars to Iraq for training, and left advisers there, that is not the same. Now we see the harm done by this administration, although you won’t hear too much about it from the media.
So now the President says we will not send troops, and gives the Iraqi government an ultimatum. Change your ways and all start to get along with each other and then maybe will help you. They need help now! They have been arguing for years with each other and the President is asking them to make a deal and get along with each other in just days. Meanwhile, we have 200 US contractors trapped there. Our embassy that was built for 592 million dollars is evacuating Americans that can get there by our US Marines as I write this article, but it will remain open with over 5 thousand staff! a recipe for disaster. 1700 Iraqi soldiers have been executed, a Police Chief was beheaded and the video proudly displayed, and the President goes to a Sioux tribal event without his security adviser, and also goes golfing.
This President does not take the lead in any conflict. He did not take the lead in Libya (France did), he drew a red line to Syria if they use chemical weapons, they did, he did nothing in response, he is allowing Iran to obtain nuclear weapons, but he does like the Muslim Brotherhood who Malik Obama, the President’s step brother is a fund raiser for. He is upset that General Assisi has won the Egyptian elections. The courts in Egypt by the way officially named Obama and this administration as terrorist sympathizers.
If Iraq is fully taken over by ISIS all of our soldiers who have died there, all the people of Iraq that risked their lives to go vote with ink on their thumbs, regardless if we should have been there or not at the start, will all be for naught. This is not my words, this is our vets words. Does a successful Muslim democracy fit into Obama’s agenda?
Who will be the cavalry sent to save these people if not us? Iran is willing to come and fight for the Iraqi people, which is ironic as they most likely fund the very same terrorist that are invading. The leader of this organized military terrorism is non other than Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, a prisoner we held in 2009 and let him go! Remember last week when Hilary Clinton stated “These 5 do not present a danger for America” (referring to the Bergdahl trade). Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is an example of Hilary’s flawed thinking.
As these terrorists storm and great speed toward Baghdad, we have MS-13 gang members and drug cartels pouring across our borders to the point where border patrols are not allowed to send them back. A dog and Pony Show as Congress is invited to take a tour of these new holding facilities. Oh, but don’t bring your cell phones, as you are not allowed to take photos. Nope, you can’t speak to the people there. Don’t even think about talking to the border agents, it is not allowed. All photos will be supplied to you after the tour. The Border Patrol agents face criminal charges if they talk to the press! Is this America or the old Soviet Union?
President Obama says “Our future depends on Dreamers” a nice term for illegal aliens. Guess what!? The President is right! Out future does depend on dreamers! However, that future? Will not be a positive one.
As we see Iraq fall, we are witnessing America falling do to every domestic policy this administration as initiated. God help us, and God help America, and yes, God help the Iraqi people.
