Donald Trump may have outwitted the left wing media by having them think they were going to get a birther statement, yet instead end up witnessing military endorsements from so many that served our country. Much of the coverage spawned us to reflect on past facts. Facts such as: It was Hillary’s campaign that first raised the question of Obama’s birthplace by making Obama’s Islamic attire photograph public. We then learn Sidney Blumenthal was pushing the birther issue to Hillary’s campaign staff.
The roots to the birther rumor goes deeper. Errors in speech, mis-prints, etc. all added to raising suspicions to where Obama was born. I say it was Hawaii, and I was never a birther believer. However, let us take a look who added to the conspiracy, albeit innocently.
Michelle Obama stating “When we visited his home country in Kenya”. Here I get to say I am of Irish Decent, born in the great USA. I do not refer to Ireland as my home country. Was this a revelation of truth? Or simply just speaking incorrectly? I believe it was just an incorrect phrasing of what she meant.
I think we can all agree Michelle is not a man. Believe it or not, but there are those that say she is a man, a transgendered man into a woman. The conspiracy theorists claim one piece of evidence is when Obama was giving a speech and he said “Michael and I…” He mis-spoke, an innocent error saying Michael instead of Michelle. It happens. Lord knows I misspeak at times. Do you? My point is just because Obama called Michelle, Michael, it doesn’t make her a transgender. Same with her statement of his home country.
We also have Bill Ayers’s parents mailman claiming they told him they had a exchange student from Kenya named Barack staying with them. These stories fuel the rumor regardless if Trump or Hillary at one time tried to present the thought.
We can continue with Obama’s own Grandmother. In a phone interview, via a translator, Obama’s Grandmother goes as far as saying he was born in Kenya, and she was there when it happened! True? False? Mis-translated?
The conspiracy theorists like to point to a Harvard brochure that welcomes Obama as a foreign exchange student. Yet the person responsible for the brochure simply said he made a mistake by presumption instead of fact and vetting.
Oh yes, there are no shortages of fuel for conspiracy theorists concerning the birther question. Is his college records sealed? Some say yes, some say no, some say they were released two years ago. If they are sealed, is it because the records would show he was born elsewhere and not in the USA? Again, I believe he was born in Hawaii, regardless if the conspiracy theorists say the hospital’s name on the birth certificate did not exist until years later. Some say it was called the same name since 1931.
I would love it to be true! That Obama was not born in the USA. At this point, if I may borrow a line “What difference does it make”.
What I do believe is Obama did claim himself to be a foreign exchange student to reap the benefits of a lower tuition. I assure you that is only my opinion based on no facts, but give me time, perhaps I can come up with a conspiracy theory of my own on that – jesting.
